Scare Racer

Scare racer is a prototype for an experimental driving/horror game where 2 players attempt to escape invisible monsters while driving to spread-out objectives. One player drives the car while the other uses a flashlight and map to navigate. Each player uses a different monitor.

SETUP INSTRUCTIONS:
- Requires two xinput (xbox) controllers. Make sure they are in slot 1 and slot 2.
- If the game is not receiving input from one or more controllers, you may have to restart windows and replug your controllers
- Requires a second monitor for the navigator (player 2).
- Make sure your windows display settings are set to "Extend" and not "Duplicate"
- Requires stereo headphones for the driver (player 1)

CONTROLS:
- Right stick: Look around (Both players)
- Left stick: Steer (Driver)
- Right trigger: Accelerate (Driver)
- B button: Brake (Driver)
- Shoulder buttons: Open/Close map (Navigator)
To turn off the radio, press different D-pad inputs quickly (Both players)
Map markers take a few seconds to appear after opening the map
